I had the pleasure of presenting at one of my favorite conferences, SEMpdx’s Engage Conference. It was a virtual conference, and they had us pre-record our presentations. I took it as an opportunity to up my video-recording game.
I plan to write about the gear I used and the editing techniques I learned because they’re all things any of us can use and do to up our video game. Right now, I want to share the original deck I was going to present in person, along with the video presentation that was inspired by it.
If you’re short on time, I recommend viewing the embedded PDF. You can also download it and read it later. If you have 25 minutes to spare and like the occasional special effects, I recommend watching the video.
One thing to keep in mind with the video is that I talk slowly. I don’t know why. Perhaps I’ve been cooped up so long during the pandemic that I forgot how to speak to other humans 😆.
